Estilos de aprendizaje en los estudiantes cuarto y quinto grado de educación secundaria en la Institución Educativa Pública N° 1204 Villa Jardín en el distrito de San Luis

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de estilo de aprendizaje que predomina en los estudiantes de cuarto y quinto grado de educación secundaria en la Institución Educativa pública N° 1204 Villa Jardín en el distrito de San Luis. El instrumento de evaluación que se utilizó fue el Cuestionario Honey-Alonso de Estilos de Aprendizaje (CHAEA), adaptado por Zavala (2008), el cual se refiere a las preferencias y formas de aprender de cada estudiante. El tipo de investigación es descriptivo, puesto que recolecta datos sobre las diversas dimensiones del tema de estudio. El diseño de la investigación es no experimental, ya que no se realiza manipulación alguna de la variable en estudio. Para esta investigación se tomó como muestra a 80 estudiantes de ambos sexos cuyas edades oscilan entre los 15 y 17 años cursando el cuarto y quinto grado de nivel secundaria. Los resultados hallados mostraron que el estilo que predomina es el reflexivo, seguido del pragmático, teórico y activo. Así mismo, el nivel para todas las dimensiones de la variable en estudio es alto.

The objective of this research was to determine the level of learning style that predominates in the fourth and fifth grade students of secondary education in Public Educational Institution No. 1204 Villa Jardín in the district of San Luis. The evaluation instrument that was used was the Honey-Alonso Questionnaire for Learning Styles (CHAEA), adapted by Zavala (2008), which refers to the preferences and ways of learning of each student. The type of research is descriptive, since it collects data on the different dimensions of the subject of study. The design of the research is non-experimental, since no manipulation of the variable under study is carried out. For this research, 80 students of both sexes whose ages ranged between 15 and 17 years old were taken as students in the fourth and fifth grades of secondary level. The results found that the predominant style is the Reflective, followed by the pragmatic, theoretical and active. Likewise, the level for all the dimensions of the variable under study is high.
