Cultura preventiva sobre el cáncer de cuello uterino en las colaboradoras del Instituto Oftalmosalud – sede San Isidro, durante el periodo enero y febrero 2019

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene por objetivo determinar el nivel de cultura preventiva sobre el cáncer del cuello uterino en las colaboradoras del Instituto Oftalmosalud – sede San Isidro, durante el periodo enero y febrero 2019. El estudio corresponde a una investigación de tipo descriptiva, de nivel básica y con un enfoque cuantitativo de acuerdo al manejo de los datos. El diseño de la investigación es no experimental, de corte transversal. La población de estudio está comprendida por 100 colaboradoras del Instituto Oftalmosalud – sede San Isidro, encuestadas durante el periodo enero y febrero 2019. La muestra de estudio está conformada por 79 colaboradoras del Instituto Oftalmosalud - sede San Isidro, la cual se obtuvo por la técnica de muestreo aleatorio simple (MAS). La técnica empleada para la recolección de la información fue la encuesta y el instrumento utilizado fue Escala de valoración de cultura preventiva sobre cáncer de cuello uterino. Se establece como conclusión que la cultura preventiva sobre el cáncer de cuello uterino presentada por las colaboradoras del Instituto Oftalmosalud responde positivamente en un 75% a nivel alto y el 25% a un nivel promedio; lo cual demuestra que conocen y practican adecuados métodos de prevención lo cual preserva su bienestar y buena salud.

The objective of this research is to determine the level of preventive culture on cervical cancer in the collaborators of the Institute Oftalmosalud - San Isidro, during the period January and February 2019. The study corresponds to a descriptive, basic level research and with a quantitative approach according to the handling of the data. The research design is non-experimental, cross-sectional. The study population is comprised of 100 collaborators of the Instituto Oftalmosalud - San Isidro campus, surveyed during the period January and February 2019. The study sample consists of 79 collaborators of the Institute Oftalmosalud - San Isidro, which was obtained by the technique simple random sampling (MAS). The technique used for the collection of the information was the survey and the instrument used was the Preventive culture valuation scale on cervical cancer. It is established as a conclusion that the preventive culture on cervical cancer presented by the collaborators of the Oftalmosalud Institute responds positively in 75% at high level and 25% at an average level; which shows that they know and practice adequate methods of prevention which preserves their well-being and good health.
